Scotch Egg Band
(UK)
DJ Scotch Eggs's crazy music and incredible live shows have won him many fans, Rob Da Bank, Mary Anne Hobbs, Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq and Phil Jupitus have all played Scotch Egg tracks on their radio shows. A grueling live schedule over the last 6 months has seen Shige conduct a Japanese tour with Shitmat, perform at the John Peel memorial concert, as well as support the likes of Lightning Bolt, 65 Days of Static, Phil Collins Three, Charlottefield, DJ Rupture, Melt Banana, The Go team, Wolf Eyes and Knifehandchop.
'KFC Core' is the debut album from Scotch Egg hurling, rock out, Gameboy-gabba mentalist Shige Ishihara.
Recorded over an intensive 30 day period, in which Ishihara consumed only KFC products. The result 'KFC Core' sees Ishihara explore his love hate relationship with fried chicken.
